Psycho Mantis of Metal Gear Solid, possibly my favourite game character of all time. The black leather outfit is rather cliché, but he makes up for it with his backstory, accent and mental abilities.

Bizarro (Superman)
I'm not usually a fan of superhero comics, and that is precisely why I like Bizarro. He's a clone gone wrong, making him sort of an anti-Superman!
Goggle and Ruby (The Hills Have Eyes, 2006 remake)
I enjoyed the original 'Hills', but the 2006 version pwns. What really makes it stand out is the visuals and character designs.. each mutant is afflicted with a recognisable, though exaggerated, deformity.
The comment is the obligatory 'I'm more different than you' statement, but it also referrs to the fact that the best horror bad guys seem to wear normal but shabby clothes.
Lobo and Vril Dox (L.E.G.I.O.N.)
I like Lobo for the same reason I like Bizarro - he's a parody of traditional comic book characters, in this case characters like Wolverine and The Punisher.
Maybe a little slashy, but cute. I may carry on the 'Chibi Bubble' theme with other characters. ^.^
Jason Voorhees (Friday 13th)
I think Jason's story is a pretty common fantasy for people who were outsiders as children - to grow up huge and indestructable and kill promiscuous popular kids as a hobby.
Tiba 'Mouse' Eki'ika (Mandalorian fan character, Star Wars)
Tiba's last name means 'Little Squeak', hence her nickname. It was a mishearing of her real name.
I was lucky enough to find a species in Star Wars, the Theelin, which fits many of my aesthetic preferences; colourful hair, patteren skin and pointy ears. Mandalorians are not so much a species as a multi-racial/cultural nomadic group.
Genestealer (Warhammer 40k)
Yes, I know that a Genestealer with guns would probably not be accepted in WH40k rules. But with so many human-like hands, you can't say that no-one's ever thought of it.
